This Easter Morning

Today we celebrate the love of God demonstrated and extended to helpless, undeserving people. Today we, no, bow the knee and thank my God that He saw fit to save, and not destroy, the people who have so blatantly turned and gone our own way.

I am humbled and grateful.

We serve a Savior who paid the price for our redemption, regardless of the cost and despite the fact that He owed nothing. Oh my.

I am and have been and will continue to be in need of large doses of grace. Do you realize that all grace begins with God? He has poured out His grace upon us, and only by the measure we have received it do we have grace to give to others. Precious, precious, costly grace.

Today, I pray for you to be inspired and rejuvenated by a powerful worship service at your place of worship. I pray that God's Word be proclaimed with boldness and anointing and supernatural power from pulpits across our land and throughout our world. I beg God to pour out His sweet Spirit upon us in a fresh and renewing way so that we would leave our church's doors with a song in our heart and a melody on our tongue and a burning mission in our souls. And I pray that God would be glorified, high and lifted up, not only in the pulpits and choir lofts of our churches, but also in the attitudes, actions, and words of each believer. May He do all He needs to do to draw men and women, boys and girls to Him for redemption and new life.

Praise the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me.
Bless His holy name!

He is risen!
