For my weekend posts I thought I'd start sharing with you the songs on my iPod playlist. How's that? Fun! That's how that is.
Now I can't always find YouTube videos of my favorite tunes that necessarily speak to me the way I want them to, but I'm going to do my best to line you up with at least a good taste of the music I've been running to these days. These are the songs that set my mind on the things above as I tread the pavement below. Quite often, in fact, I awaken in the morning fresh from disturbing dreams (the Lord and I are working on that...), so I really need these tunes to lift my spirits, my sights, my heart and my thoughts.
So without further ado, I give you the song I usually finish my exercise time with (by this time I'm usually on the floor hammering out my crunches!):
Whatever You're Doing (Something Heavenly)
by Sanctus Real:
Oh, um, actually I do have one more "ado." I'm not thrilled with this video; you may not be either. So you might just want to play the song, close your eyes and let the words speak to your soul. That's what I do while I'm doing my crunches ;)
What's one of your favorites from your playlist? I'd love to know!
Have a great weekend!
